General Nurse

ProRecruit Versaatech is hiring for the General Nurse position in Thika. This is a full time, mid level role. Qualification level: Bachelors.

To collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.

To actively participate in programs for quality improvement in nursing practices.

To promote a safe environment for patients, visitors and coworkers including the implementations of infection control policies of the hospital.

To check daily inventory of Medicines & Other Equipment's.

Key responsibilities

• To provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients by assessing their needs, administering appropriate treatment, monitoring their progress, and supporting the overall delivery of quality healthcare services.
• To ensure delivery of patient care through implementation of prescribed medication and monitoring effects.
• To provide nursing care to patients based on established clinical practice standards.
• To maintain positive interpersonal relations with subordinates & seniors.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration and practicing license with the relevant nursing regulatory body in Kenya.
• Good knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care, and infection prevention and control.
