Job Overview – Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence
The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence will play a pivotal role in Cellulant’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This position focuses on creating and maintaining insightful dashboards, performing deep data analysis, and providing executive-level reporting that drives strategic decision-making across departments. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Power BI or Oracle BI, with a strong accounting background and a knack for translating complex financial data into business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Create comprehensive financial reports, analyze data trends, and support budget monitoring and performance tracking.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI or Oracle BI for real-time business intelligence and predictive financial modeling.
- Accounting and Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy in ledger entries, financial statements, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Strategic Collaboration: Liaise between Finance and technical teams to implement effective data analytics solutions.
- Process Optimization: Streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks through analytics tools, improving operational efficiency.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on dashboard use and data interpretation.
- Monitoring and Compliance: Track key metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and evaluate market trends for risks and opportunities.
- Leadership Input: Contribute to high-level strategic planning by providing data-driven insights and supporting special projects like mergers or partnerships.
Job Requirements – Qualifications & Skills Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, or business intelligence.
- Advanced skills in Power BI and/or Oracle BI, especially in data modeling and visualization.
- Deep understanding of accounting systems, financial principles, and data reconciliation practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical teams alike.
Technical & Core Competencies
- Data Analytics: Strong command of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Oracle BI, and advanced Excel functionalities.
