About the Role

The Software Developer will work across a variety of web development projects, contributing to client-facing platforms and internal initiatives. The position is designed to support the continued growth of the agency’s technical capability while providing mentoring and training in modern web development practices.

The successful candidate will also have opportunities for professional development, including support for attending relevant regional conferences and hack days.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to e-commerce platforms and web-based projects.
• Work on business-to-business portals and other web development initiatives.
• Contribute to innovative internal projects within the agency.
• Apply client-side web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Use Git or another distributed source control management system as part of the development process.
• Apply knowledge of a modern web framework such as Django, Symfony or Rails.
• Participate in mentoring and training focused on modern web development practices.
• Continue developing technical and professional capabilities through relevant development opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written English.
• A degree in any discipline.
• Experience with basic client-side web technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git or another distributed source control management system.
• Demonstrable knowledge of a modern web framework, such as Django, Symfony or Rails.
