About the Role

The Software Engineer Intern will support different teams with day-to-day technology operations while gaining practical experience in software development. The role involves translating technical designs into secure code, supporting applications and integrations, assisting with credit and data platforms, and providing technical support to internal teams and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform technical designs and notes into secure code for applications, APIs and integrations into and out of Pezesha platforms.
• Collaborate with the existing technology team in implementing and managing end-to-end credit and data platforms.
• Provide first-line support for technical solution issues.
• Document technology processes and procedures.
• Support quality assurance and software testing activities.
• Collaborate with data and operations teams to help ensure customer needs are met.
• Provide technical training to teams and partners.

Required Skills and Experience

• Enthusiasm for technology and a strong willingness to learn and develop as a software developer.
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, BBIT or a related field.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as PHP, Java or Go.
• Knowledge or exposure to backend development frameworks such as Laravel, Spring Boot or Gin (Golang) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to actively participate in discussions.
