Warehouse Manager

We are a leading manufacturer of packaging materials for the FMCG, horticulture export, pharmaceuticals and paint sectors.

The role of Warehouse Manager is both challenging and rewarding. The successful candidate needs to be flexible, organized and capable of multi-tasking in a busy environment and operate with the upmost integrity

The successful candidate’s role will ensure efficient receipt, storage, handling of raw materials. He /she will also safeguard inventory accuracy, maintain optimal stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production, and lead warehouse operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards.

Main responsibilities

Implement FIFO/FEFO and proper handling of all raw material and consumables
Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment to prevent production downtime.
Manage rejection procedures for damaged or non-conforming materials for both Paper and Consumables stores.
Oversee reel handling equipments’ like clamp trucks and forklifts to prevent paper damage.
Supervise both Paper and Consumables Warehouse team members
Identify bottlenecks and lead warehouse improvement initiatives.
Reduce waste, damage, and lead times through process optimization.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards and company policies.
Monitor and control warehouse costs, identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.
