About the Role

The Warehouse Team Lead supervises warehousemen and truck drivers while coordinating daily warehouse activities and work orders. The position involves scheduling assignments, working with other departments, supporting warehouse operations and maintaining required standards of safety and cleanliness.

The role also requires the successful candidate to manage daily work orders, including requests submitted through myServices, and coordinate tasks to ensure warehouse activities are properly organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise warehousemen and truck drivers in their daily duties.
• Coordinate daily warehouse work orders, including assignments received through myServices.
• Schedule warehouse tasks and organize work activities according to operational requirements.
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate warehouse services and work requirements.
• Monitor warehouse operations and ensure assigned tasks are appropriately managed.
• Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate activities involving warehouse personnel and transportation requirements.
• Support the effective movement and handling of warehouse items as required.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• At least 2 years of warehouse experience is required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
• English proficiency at Level 3, representing good working knowledge, is required.
• A valid Class BCE driver’s license held for at least 5 years is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook is required.
• Ability to lift heavy items is required.
• Familiarity with local traffic routes is required.

Eligibility

This Warehouse Team Lead vacancy is intended for current U.S. Mission employees and employees who were separated through RIF within one year of separation. Hiring preference is given first to Eligible Family Members (EFMs), particularly those with veteran status as USEFMs, followed by other AEFM/USEFM candidates and then FS/CS employees with reemployment rights.
