Amnesty International Kenya is currently seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to support its mission of defending and promoting human rights in Kenya. Volunteer Opportunities in Human Rights Advocacy
Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing human rights campaigns and policy advocacy
- Assist with research and documentation on human rights issues in Kenya
- Help organize community events and outreach programs
- Contribute to social media and digital communication efforts
- Provide administrative and project-related support as needed
Volunteer Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong interest in social justice and human rights work
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet research)
- Willingness to commit at least 10 hours per week
- Must be a Kenyan citizen or legally residing in Kenya
Preferred Attributes
- Previous volunteer experience is an asset but not required
- Awareness of human rights challenges in Kenya and globally
- Creative thinking and initiative
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills
