Full-Time Trainer German Language Job Description

The Full-Time Trainer German Language hiring supports structured German language instruction aligned with international standards and examination requirements. The trainer will deliver curriculum content, assess learner performance, and contribute to high-quality programme implementation across the designated centres.

This position is suitable for candidates seeking German language teaching jobs in Kenya who are passionate about intercultural communication, learner-centered instruction, and competency-based training. The role supports students preparing for academic, migration, or professional opportunities in German-speaking environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and teach assigned German language units in line with the approved curriculum.
  • Develop learning materials and maintain professional records to monitor student progress and attendance.
  • Design and deliver individualized learning plans tailored to student proficiency levels.
  • Assess student work and track achievement against defined outcomes.
  • Participate in course review processes and adapt delivery methods to meet learner needs.
  • Examine and mark Continuous Assessment Tests (C.A.Ts) and end-of-term assessments, uploading marks into the MIS system.
  • Provide practical language instruction and maintain student portfolios of evidence.
  • Supervise students during assessments and classroom activities.
  • Contribute to development and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and undertake additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Goethe Institute certification with at least B2 level proficiency in German.
  • Minimum of one year experience teaching German language.
