About the Role

The Retail Experience Intern supports the daily operations of an Airtel retail shop while assisting the customer service team in delivering a positive customer experience. The position provides hands-on exposure to sales, customer care, product knowledge and retail operational processes within a telecommunications environment.

The intern will interact directly with customers, provide assistance with Airtel products and services, support customer complaint resolution and help promote products, services and offers at the shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the retail shop in a professional and friendly manner.
• Respond to basic customer queries concerning Airtel products and services, including SIM registration, airtime, bundles and device troubleshooting.
• Support the resolution of customer complaints by escalating issues to Customer Service Executives or the Shop Manager.
• Maintain a positive customer experience that reflects Airtel’s brand values.
• Promote Airtel products, services and offers in support of the shop team.
• Guide customers through Airtel Money registration, PIN reset and transaction processes.
• Educate customers on using Airtel Money and digital self-service platforms.
• Maintain shop displays, branding and cleanliness to support a professional retail environment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Shop Manager from time to time.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or a related field.
• Experience: Recent graduate with 1–2 years of experience in sales, trade promotions, brand visibility or customer service.
• Personal Attributes: Inquisitive, creative, eager to learn and committed to excellence.
