Assistant Irrigation Engineer I

Kwale County Government is hiring for the Assistant Irrigation Engineer I position in Kwale. This is a full time, entry level role. Qualification level: Bachelors. Kwale County is located in south coast of Kenya.Duties And Responsibilities: Applications close on 19 November 2026.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;

Irrigation systems site in the County;

Design and develop BQs for irrigation dams, pans and pipelines;

Carry out identification of suitable irrigation sites in the County;

Design feasibility test of irrigation water and soils;

Calculate crop water requirements for various irrigated crops;

Any other activity related to irrigation in the County

Requirements

• For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have; –
• Served in the grade of Assistant Irrigation Engineer II or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service or Private sector for at least three [3] years…
