Corporate Relationship Manager Job Description – Energy Banking Jobs in Kenya
The Corporate Relationship Manager – Energy Sector is responsible for developing and managing relationships with corporate clients operating within power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, green infrastructure, and related energy projects. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with Independent Power Producers (IPPs), renewable energy developers, EPC contractors, and energy service companies.
- Acquire new corporate clients within the energy, infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors.
- Design customized financing solutions for power, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.
- Structure project finance, equipment finance, green financing, and working capital facilities.
- Promote treasury, trade finance, foreign exchange, cash management, and digital banking solutions.
- Prepare credit proposals, analyze financial statements, and evaluate project cash flows.
- Monitor customer facilities, ensure compliance with lending terms, and initiate recovery actions where required.
- Monitor market trends, industry regulations, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in sustainable finance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional banking qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Corporate Banking.
- At least three years’ experience managing large corporate customers.
- Experience financing power, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects is an added advantage.
