Finance Systems and Process Management Lead Jobs in Kenya

The Finance Systems and Process Management Lead will ensure finance systems and business processes across the Group are aligned with strategic objectives while delivering efficient, effective, well-controlled, and well-governed finance operations. The successful candidate will drive finance transformation initiatives, improve business processes, strengthen governance, and support the adoption of emerging technologies including automation, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation.

The role requires close collaboration with Finance, Information Technology, vendors, and business stakeholders to optimize enterprise finance systems, improve operational performance, and enhance governance across multiple subsidiaries. Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze finance business processes to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities for standardization.
• Develop and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, governance, and user experience.
• Support the standardization of finance policies, procedures, operating models, and internal controls across subsidiaries.
• Assess finance system requirements and define business needs for new or enhanced system capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business users to design and implement finance system improvements.
• Lead finance systems and process improvement projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-go-live support.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, deployment activities, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and user sign-off during system implementation projects.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle EPM, and banking finance systems.
• Resolve finance system issues while providing guidance on system usage, process compliance, and best practices.
• Promote the adoption of digitization, artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, and workflow automation across finance operations.
• Identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency, governance, and operational controls.
• Develop user guides, process documentation, training materials, and change management communications.
• Conduct end-user training and support stakeholder adoption of finance system enhancements.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strengthen finance governance, internal controls, and enterprise process standardization across the Group.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CISA, CIMA, or equivalent are an added advantage.
• Project Management, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Automation, or ERP certifications are desirable.
• Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in finance systems, finance transformation, business process improvement, or related roles within a financial services organization.
• Hands-on experience implementing finance systems and business process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Finance modules, Oracle EPM, Finacle, Way4, and enterprise finance processes.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process design, user acceptance testing, data migration, user training, and post-go-live support.
