KPMG East Africa is hiring interns and offering attachments for undergraduates and recent graduates. This is your chance to gain real-world experience, build your network, connect with subject matter experts, and explore countless opportunities.
About the Program
- – Open to undergraduates in their third or fourth year or recently graduated within the last year
- – A 3–8 week full-time KPMG internship or attachment program
- – Gain experience and skills to equip you for your career journey
- – A short-term opportunity for three months with a structured learning pathway
- – Available in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda)

Requirements
The requirements vary slightly for each country, but generally include:
- – Age: 21-26 years
- – University: Second Class Upper or equivalent GPA (e.g., 3.5 and above)
- – High School: Minimum grade requirements in relevant subjects
Units and Additional Requirements
1. Audit, Accounting, Payroll & Outsourced Services, Deal Advisory, Finance, Tax:
- – Degree in a business-related field
- – Accounting certification is an added advantage
2. Audit: IT in Audit/ITS:
- – Degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related fields
- – Certifications like CISA, CIA, CPA, ACCA are an added advantage
- – Relevant IT experience is a plus
3. Assurance: Cyber Security:
- – Degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related fields
- – Certifications like CEH, CISM, CISSP, Security+, OSCP are an added advantage
4. Assurance – Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRCS):
- – Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, or Statistics
- – Certifications in Actuarial Exams, Financial Risk Management, or Enterprise Risk Management are an added advantage
5. Transformation – People & Change/People Performance and Culture (HR):
- – Degree in a business-related field
- – HR certification is an added advantage
6. Advisory – International Development Advisory Services (IDAS):
- – Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
- – Accounting certification is an added advantage
