Use a variety of teaching strategies including discussion, group work, projects, role-play, inquiry-based learning, and practical demonstrations to accommodate different learning styles.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred lessons in Mathematics, Pre-Technical Studies, and Integrated Science for Grades 4 to 9.
• Ensure all lessons align with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) framework, focusing on skills, values, attitudes, and knowledge acquisition.
• Prepare termly schemes of work aligned with CBE requirements and school goals.
• Develop weekly lesson plans outlining learning objectives, activities, resources, and assessment methods.

Requirements

• Must possess a P1 Teacher Certificate from a recognised teacher training institution.
• Must hold a Diploma in Primary Teacher Education.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Education (Science, Mathematics, or Technology) shall be considered an added advantage.
• Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and possess a valid TSC number.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and educational technology platforms.
