Teacher Assistant/ Bus Assistant

Role Responsibilities

This position is ideal for individuals seeking practical classroom experience while pursuing their teacher training in the early years section – Ages between 3-6 years.

The role involves supporting teachers with instructional activities, maintaining a clean and organised classroom environment, and undertaking daily bus duty responsibilities, which may require extended working hours.

Classroom Support

Key responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with lesson preparation, instructional materials, and activity set-up.
• Support student learning and engagement through guided activities, small-group instruction, and individualised assistance.
• Monitor and support students during classroom routines, transitions, and outdoor activities.
• Assist teachers in preparing learning spaces and materials for upcoming lessons and activities.
• Ensure classroom resources are appropriately stored and readily accessible.
• Supervise students during morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off, ensuring their safety and adherence to school rules.
