Regional Relationship Manager Jobs in Kenya
The Regional Relationship Manager – Biashara Banking will coordinate regional business activities to ensure the successful implementation of the Bank’s strategies, goals, and objectives. The successful candidate will drive customer acquisition, deposit mobilization, loan portfolio growth, investment and insurance opportunities, service quality, staff productivity, and business development across the North-Eastern Region.
The role also focuses on coaching branch teams, strengthening credit quality, enhancing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate regional Biashara Banking operations to achieve business growth targets.
- Monitor daily loan origination activities and ensure compliance with lending policies.

- Support branch teams in managing loan arrears and improving portfolio quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers and key business customers.
- Conduct training, coaching, and mentorship programmes for branch staff and Credit Committees.
- Strengthen staff understanding of lending procedures, policies, and organizational values.
- Drive customer recruitment, deposit mobilization, and loan portfolio growth.
- Identify partnership opportunities that support business expansion and customer acquisition.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, business activations, and regional sales initiatives.
- Monitor staff productivity and conduct regular regional performance reviews.
- Identify talent development opportunities and recommend appropriate staff deployment.
- Promote exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with agreed service level agreements.
- Support branches in onboarding customers into various business ecosystems and partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regional business objectives.
- Prepare regional business updates and provide progress reports to the Segment Head – Biashara Banking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of six (6) years’ experience as a Relationship Supervisor in Biashara Banking.
- Strong understanding of microfinance industry practices and SME banking.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
