About the Role

The Security Officer position is intended for candidates who can meet the physical, medical, communication and integrity standards required for security work. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to maintain a clean work history and provide relevant employment documentation where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Be a Kenyan citizen.
• Be a male aged between 23 and 40 years.
• Be a Form Four leaver with a minimum KCSE Grade D Plain.
• Meet the minimum height requirement of 5 feet 8 inches.
• Possess a valid certificate of good conduct not exceeding one year old, or be ready to apply for one.
• Be physically and medically fit.
• Have good eyesight and a good sense of hearing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English and Kiswahili, both orally and in writing.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Applicants with previous employment must have a clean work history and provide proof through a letter from their most recent employer.

• Post-secondary training will be an added advantage.
• Possession of a smartphone and the ability to use it effectively will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with higher qualifications will also be considered.

Security Officer Training

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a 3-week security officer’s training. Candidates will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation and upkeep during the training period.

Further briefings will be provided to successful candidates after the recruitment exercise.
