Sales Lead Job Position Overview

The Sales Lead position sits within the Admissions department, reporting directly to the Senior Manager Admissions. As Moringa School rapidly expands its course offerings, the successful candidate will leverage advanced skills in sales, data analysis, and process optimization to ensure efficiency throughout the revenue funnel.

Key Objectives

  • – Systems Optimization: Enhance student recruitment and admissions systems while ensuring accurate data flows from enquiry to enrollment
  • – Stakeholder & Team Management: Lead the conversions team by developing their performance and competence while managing stakeholder communications to boost collaborative efforts
  • – Data-Driven Reporting: Provide organizational visibility into progress against targets through dashboard analysis and comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • – Admissions Leadership: Oversee the admissions sales process, collaborating cross-functionally to maintain a sustainable recruitment pipeline
  • – Process Documentation: Create thorough documentation of systems, processes, and standards for effective knowledge transfer

Core Responsibilities

  • – Run and manage admission sales for Moringa B2C Products with a focus on revenue growth
  • – Meet and exceed all school admissions targets for each class cohort
  • – Build, implement, and refine robust team systems and processes
  • – Train and develop Admissions Associates and Assistants, establishing their quarterly goals and ensuring they receive comprehensive training
  • – Oversee data management for prospective student profiles from initial inquiry through follow-up
  • – Guide prospective students on document requirements, course options, and potential career outcomes
  • – Deliver exceptional customer service to both prospective and current students
  • – Drive innovation in the admissions process to increase enrollment rates
  • – Collaborate with the Marketing team to optimize lead generation for ideal candidate profiles
  • – Work closely with the Finance department to ensure accurate student billing
  • – Support seamless student onboarding from enrollment to classroom integration
  • – Produce daily reports on enrollment metrics and analyze performance trends
  • – Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve conversion rates across different product offerings

  • – Technical proficiency with relevant software and systems

Qualifications and Experience

  • – Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar sales role with demonstrated analytical capabilities
  • – Proven track record in building and implementing effective sales systems
  • – Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external audiences
  • – Substantial customer service experience
  • – Proficiency with ERP and/or CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • – Experience with analysis tools including Tableau and advanced Excel
  • – Prior exposure to startup culture preferred
  • – Background in Education Management organizations considered an advantage
