General Manager, Claims and Stakeholder Relations Job Description – Executive Jobs in Kenya

The General Manager will provide strategic leadership in claims management, stakeholder engagement, reunification services, policy development, and service delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop policies, strategies, regulations, and procedures for effective claims management.
  • Monitor compliance with claims management policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate identification, location, and notification of owners of unclaimed financial assets.
  • Manage reunification agents and other service providers supporting claims administration.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the Authority’s unclaimed financial assets database.
  • Strengthen stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Lead stakeholder education, awareness campaigns, and communication strategies.
  • Prepare management reports on claims processing and reunification performance.
  • Coordinate development and dissemination of information, education, and communication materials.
  • Design and implement service delivery standards and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee ICT systems, strategies, and digital transformation initiatives supporting claims management.
  • Develop, review, and maintain departmental risk registers and mitigation measures.

Required Qualifications – Public Sector Executive Jobs in Kenya

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or another business-related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA (K), ACCA, CISA, ICIFA, International Relations, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body where applicable.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience, including at least five (5) years in senior management.
  • Leadership course lasting at least four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and strategic management systems.
  • Candidates pursuing executive management careers in Kenya should demonstrate exceptional leadership, managerial competence, and professional integrity.
