About the Role

Security Officers will be expected to remain alert and vigilant while following established security procedures and instructions. The role requires candidates who demonstrate good communication skills, physical fitness, good character and integrity.

Required Qualifications

• Age between 22 and 40 years.
• Minimum KCSE Grade D+ and above.
• Minimum height of 5 ft 9 inches for men and 5 ft 8 inches for women.
• Physically fit and medically examined.
• Good communication skills.
• Good character and integrity.
• Ability to follow instructions and security procedures.
• Ability to remain alert, observant and vigilant at all times.

Documents Required

• Handwritten application letter.
• Original and copy of National ID.
• Two passport-size photographs.
• Original and copy of KCSE Certificate with a minimum Grade D, or a result slip for candidates who recently sat for KCSE.
• Police Clearance Certificate not older than six months, or proof of application receipt/invoice.
• Copy of NSSF Card.
• Copy of SHA Membership Number.
• Copy of KRA PIN Certificate.
• Original and photocopies of employment history documents, including recommendation letters, separation letters and service certificates from previous employers.
• Rural Home Chief/Sub-chief letter not older than six months.
• Three original reference letters together with copies of the referees’ IDs.
• Rural and urban residence sketch maps.
