About the Role

The Senior Labour Migration Officer supports the management and promotion of safe, orderly, and well-regulated labour migration. The position involves collecting and maintaining labour migration data, implementing national labour migration policies and programmes, conducting research, and supporting programmes for migrant workers.

Requirements for Appointment

• Must have served in the grade of Senior Labour Migration Officer for a minimum period of three years or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service.
• A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized institution: Human Resource Management and Development, Law, Business Administration, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Statistics, Labour Relations, or Industrial Relations.
• Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated professional competence and managerial capability as reflected in work performance and results.

Professional Experience

The position requires a minimum of three years served in the grade of Senior Labour Migration Officer or in a comparable and relevant position within the Public Service. Applicants must also demonstrate professional competence and managerial capability through their work performance and results.
