About the Role

The Store Clerk will oversee the receipt, storage, documentation and dispatch of finished goods in the assigned warehouse. The role requires accurate stock movement records, regular inventory checks and consistent application of stock rotation procedures to minimize discrepancies and prevent product expiry.

The successful candidate will help ensure that warehouse activities follow KWAL and HEINEKEN policies, procedures and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive inbound finished goods from other warehouses and verify their accuracy and physical condition in accordance with the applicable stock management policy.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date system record of all stock movements in the assigned warehouse.
• Ensure accurate dispatch of outbound finished goods to company depots and warehouses, duty-free clients and export trade destinations, as applicable.
• Verify that dispatched goods correspond with the relevant invoices, dispatch notes and stock transfer orders.
• Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly stocktakes of warehouse inventory.
• Investigate and account for identified stock variances promptly and justifiably in accordance with established stock procedures.
• Ensure proper stock rotation practices are consistently followed throughout the warehouse.
• Apply the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) methods as required by stock policies and procedures.
• Help prevent expiry of products with limited shelf lives through proper stock rotation and inventory control.
• Maintain the safe custody of warehouse materials and stock in line with established policies and procedures.
