About the Role

The stores and supply chain role supports the effective management of goods, inventory, and store records within KMTC. The officer will handle procurement and inventory data, receive and issue goods, participate in stocktaking, maintain store security and orderliness, and identify obsolete items for disposal.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out data entry into procurement and inventory management information systems.
• Receive, arrange, and issue goods in the stores.
• Participate in the inspection and receipt of goods.
• Carry out stocktaking and reconcile inventory records.
• Ensure the security and safety of goods and equipment in the store.
• Maintain accurate stock and store records.
• Ensure orderliness within the store.
• Identify obsolete stores and equipment for disposal.

Required Qualifications

• A Diploma in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Membership to the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) or Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) and in good standing.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
