About the Internship Programme

The KPC internship programme provides graduates and diploma holders with an opportunity to gain practical skills and hands-on experience in areas related to their academic specialization. Internship opportunities are available across multiple departments and sections of the Company.

KPC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Successful interns must be available on a full-time basis for the entire one-year programme, which will not be extended beyond the stipulated duration.

  • ICT: 2 positions for Bachelor of Science in Information Technology graduates.
  • Safety Health Environment: 2 positions for Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or Occupational Safety and Health graduates.
  • Finance: 2 positions for Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) or Bachelor of Accounting graduates.
  • Revenue: 2 positions for Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) or Bachelor of Accounting graduates.
  • Legal: 2 positions for Bachelor of Law graduates.
  • Corporate Planning: 2 positions for graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Statistics.
  • Human Resource: 1 position for Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management or Bachelor of Business Management (HR) graduates.
  • Supply Chain: 1 position for Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management or Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Supplies and Procurement Management) graduates.
  • Risk: 1 position for graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Risk Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Corrosion: 1 position for Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering graduates and 2 positions for Diploma in Electrical Engineering graduates.
  • Fibre: 1 position for Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication, BSc IT or Computer Engineering graduates.
  • Systems Automation: 2 positions for BSc Electrical and Electronics Engineering or BSc Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering graduates, plus 2 positions for relevant diploma holders.
  • Electrical: 10 positions for Diploma in Electrical Engineering graduates.
  • Mechanical: 7 positions for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering graduates.
  • Operations: 4 positions for Diploma holders in an Engineering field.
  • Civil: 3 positions for Diploma in Civil Engineering graduates.
  • Quality Control: 2 positions for Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry graduates.
  • Airwing: 1 position for Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering graduates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be Kenyan citizens aged below 28 years.
  • Applicants must have graduated from a recognized university from 2020 onwards.
  • Applicants must hold the relevant Bachelor’s degree or Diploma specified for the internship area.
  • Applicants must be available on a full-time basis for the one-year programme.
