Payroll Advisor – Level 1 Job Description
The Payroll Advisor – Level 1 is responsible for delivering accurate, confidential, and compliant payroll services by following established payroll procedures and governance standards. The role ensures employees and pensioners receive timely payroll support while maintaining high service quality.

Payroll Advisor Jobs in Kenya: Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll and pension transactions accurately while complying with established governance requirements.

- Distribute employee payslips and complete assigned payroll administration duties.
- Provide timely support by resolving employee and pensioner payroll queries with professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
- Minimum three years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience in HR administration within a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Strong understanding of payroll governance, statutory deductions, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

- Experience working within the banking or financial services sector.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and HR information management systems.
