About the Role
The Transformation Governance Lead serves as the custodian of Family Bank’s Strategy-to-Execution framework, creating alignment between strategic objectives, initiatives, KPIs, benefits and measurable business value. The position strengthens execution discipline, accountability, transparency and evidence-based decision-making across the transformation portfolio.
The role provides enterprise-level visibility into investment exposure, strategic alignment, benefits realization, value-at-risk and cross-functional dependencies across strategic, financial, technology and operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Bank’s Strategy-to-Execution framework, linking strategic objectives to workstreams, milestones, KPIs, benefits and business outcomes.
- Maintain the integrated Transformation Roadmap covering initiatives, milestones, dependencies, risks, benefits and strategic outcomes.
- Monitor transformation progress and identify execution risks, resource constraints and strategic misalignment.
- Lead portfolio optimization, prioritization and investment reviews, recommending initiatives for acceleration, redesign, deferment or termination based on strategic value and execution readiness.
- Design and manage the Transformation Performance Management Framework and enterprise transformation scorecards.
- Establish KPI governance structures and develop Strategic Performance Index (SPI) dashboards for consolidated transformation performance monitoring.
- Develop and institutionalize Benefits Realization Frameworks covering benefit ownership, accountability, baselines, targets and tracking methodologies.
- Monitor planned versus realized benefits across financial, operational, customer, productivity and risk dimensions, including benefit leakage and future value realization.
- Evaluate transformation economics using ROI, NPV, IRR, Benefit-Cost Ratio, payback period, Cost of Delay, Cost of Inaction and portfolio value-at-risk.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and benefits realization audits to validate outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop transformation intelligence frameworks using forecasting, predictive analytics and scenario modelling to support executive decisions.
- Prepare Executive Decision Intelligence Packs for the CTO, Executive Committee, Board and Steering Committees.
- Evaluate strategic investment proposals through business case analysis, financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis and operational efficiency assessments.
- Maintain the enterprise transformation risk register and execution assurance framework, including predictive Early Warning Indicators and risk intelligence models.
- Conduct transformation health assessments, maturity reviews and root-cause analysis of underperforming initiatives.
- Lead automation of transformation reporting and executive intelligence processes using advanced analytics and related technologies.
- Establish transformation methodologies, standards and best practices while building enterprise capability through coaching and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, ICT, Finance, Economics, Strategy, Data Analytics, Project Management, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in transformation management, strategy execution, enterprise performance management, consulting, business analytics, project portfolio management or related fields.
- Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong experience in executive reporting, benefits realization, governance, strategic planning and financial modelling.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior executives, boards and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Knowledge of transformation and portfolio governance, Benefits Realization Frameworks and transformation economics.
- Strong financial modelling skills covering ROI, NPV, IRR, payback period and cost-benefit analysis.
- Experience in KPI and scorecard design and Strategic Performance Index (SPI) methodology.
- Knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau and SQL.
- Understanding of predictive analytics, process mining and AI/ML applications for performance and risk monitoring.
- Strong executive reporting and Board paper development capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in MBA, Strategy, Finance, Data Analytics, Project Management or a related discipline is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, Business Analysis, Data Analytics or equivalent are highly desirable.
