Analyst – Strategy & Transformation Job Description

The Analyst – Strategy & Transformation will support the execution and monitoring of the bank’s strategic plan by analyzing performance data, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing governance reports, and supporting transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Support the Strategy Management process through analysis of the Strategy Map performance and Balanced Scorecard framework.
• Assist in developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used to measure the implementation of the strategic plan.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to establish baselines and evaluate strategic performance indicators.
• Monitor KPI performance against targets, identify deviations, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and periodic strategy performance reports for management and governance forums.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing KPIs and recommend improvements to enhance strategic performance measurement.

• Provide operational support to the Transformation Office on strategic cadence processes and transformation projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of three (3) years of banking experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex strategic projects and transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of strategy execution and performance management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management applications.
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills for professionals pursuing business strategy jobs in Kenya.
